Brooke O'Neill About

I am a creative, executive producer, writer and mother living in Los Angeles, California.

Almost two years ago, I pitched an idea to elevate the unscripted narrative surrounding Southern lifestyles and communities. The network found my vision fashionable and funded the project. Together with my partner we wrote, developed and sold original content to a network. It was thrilling and I quickly recognized the unlimited unscripted possibilities and the communities that had been overlooked, or underserved, by current media markets. Navigating pitfalls, negotiating with executives, partners and talent, collaborating and writing a narrative that was able to get the best story from our cast was electrifying. I fell in love with every experience I had along the way, to include when a new head of the network was named and he wiped the slate to include our show. Where it is today…to be continued.

The entire experience reinforced that I always wanted to be working in a creative space, with creative people in an industry that appreciates a strong point of view and fresh perspective. Previous to becoming an executive producer, I had a successful career in political and non-profit development and fundraising.

My two great loves in my professional life are being creative and people’s stories. I want to begin a new career in development that identifies new markets, talents and story; formulate pitches; provide notes on story, outline and scripts in development; on-set oversight of projects and to collaborate with a team on how to best create and deliver iconic unscripted content to the marketplace.

I am proudly from Columbus, Ohio. Graduated from The Ohio State University in 1999 with a BA degree in political science.

I am a Sagittarius, although my fake ID in college had me as a Taurus. My oldest son is a Leo, my youngest is a crab. My French Bulldog is a Virgo. My horoscope predicts that 2019 is my Emerald year and promises to be my time to shine. I am looking for a place where I can do just that.

All the best,

Brooke O'Neill
